Sequoia Heights participated in Operation Noah Rebuild again in 2008.

We went to New Orleans as a team on March 23, 2008 and stayed until March 29, 2008.

The people in New Orleans need help in rehabbing more than 1,000 homes and 20 churches. Skilled and unskilled workers are needed to help with roofs, dry wall installation, electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and much more.

Also churches need assistance with projects designed to address the spiritual needs of their communities, often in association with construction projects.

Mission emphasis within the United States

Operation Noah Rebuild is a two-year partnership project between New Orleans churches and associations, the Louisiana Baptist Convention, and the North American Mission Board to help New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Volunteers are needed to rebuild homes; start, restart, or strengthen churches; and reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
