Missions at Sequoia Heights
Before 1997 Sequoia Heights Baptist Church was a strong supporter of Southern Baptist Missions, giving regular offerings to the Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong special mission offerings. However, God had more in mind for this congregation. God challenged church leadership to consider supporting these and other missions activities. Beginning in 1997, the Lord started calling out missionaries from Sequoia to go overseas for short-term projects. This was a vision Pastor Mark Rindels had when he came to Sequoia and has now become a reality. |
Sequoia Heights has a new passion for ministry and unprecedented involvement in missions for members of all ages.
